About - Village Beer Merchant was a vision started a few years ago by Brian, the owner's son. It became a reality last summer when the owner's decided to move to Buffalo.
The City of Buffalo has so much to offer a new business. The Elmwood Village area. in particular, offered the perfect location. We listened to the residents of the area and responded. We heard, 'I wish we didn't have to drive to the suburbs to pick up good cheese and olives', 'We need a great place that serves a great sandwich', and our favorite, 'Where is the beer?'
Village Beer Merchant is not only family owned, this store is definitely family-oriented. From the 42' flat screen television playing cartoons on Saturday morning to cooking shows to sports, and lets not forget the free popcorn.
